Yoga Classes

According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, yoga can improve strength, balance, and flexibility. Poses have been shown to have a positive impact on back pain, arthritis symptoms, heart health, and stress management. Yoga can help you feel relaxed, improve your mood, and help you sleep. It is a wonderful form of self-care and the perfect compliment to the aerial and bungee classes offered at Pole Kisses!

Pregnancy Yoga

Our yoga instructor, Joanne Diamond, also has special training in offering yoga to those who are pregnant, as well as trauma informed yoga. If you are pregnant, we recommend you consult your physician before taking yoga, as well as let Joanne know at the beginning of class so she can provide you appropriate modifications.

What to Wear to our Yoga Classes?  Any Limitations?

Recommended Clothing
Non-restrictive, comfortable athletic apparel. Bare feet recommended, however you can wear ballet style shoes or yoga socks

Contraindications
Individuals who have had surgery in the last 6 months, pregnant, or have a serous medical condition should be cautious before engaging in any physical activity. If you have any of these conditions or think you may be pregnant, please consult with your physician before taking classes at Pole Kisses, LLC. Please notify your instructor of any injuries prior to class. Individuals under the age of 18 require written parental consent.

 Stretching Classes and Flexibility for Aerial

The more flexible you are, the better you will be able to perform many of the tricks on pole, Lyra and silks. In this class, you will be taught a variety of stretches that improve overall flexibility, including how to achieve your splits! Want to become a bendy babe/bro? This is the class for you!
