Pole Fitness: Pole Virgins Class

Class Description
This class is for individuals who have never taken a pole dance class. Perfect for those who are nervous about starting pole fitness. Learn the basics, such as what to expect, what to wear, safety skills, a basic walk, spin, and sit, as well as overcome your fears in a supportive environment. We recommend new students take this class first before other pole classes.

Recommended Clothing
The more skin the better, as it helps you “stick” to the pole. We recommend wearing very short shorts, sleeveless top and sports bra. Bare feet recommended, however you can wear ballet style shoes as long as the top of the foot is open. No jewelry is allowed for safety precautions. For better grip on the pole, we strongly recommend NOT wearing any lotion/oils.

Contraindications
Pole fitness is not recommended for individuals who have had surgery in the last 6 months, pregnant, or have a serous medical condition. If you have any of these conditions or think you may be pregnant, please consult with your physician before taking pole classes at Pole Kisses, LLC. Please notify your instructor of any injuries prior to class. Individuals under the age of 18 require written parental consent.

Pole Dance Class: Level 1

All moves are from the ground, and designed to improve your strength and flexibility, so you can graduate to more advanced classes. Those who have never taken a pole class should take “First Kiss: Pole Virgins” at least once before taking a level 1 class.
