What is Air Aerial Fitness?
Aerial fitness incorporates a wide variety of workout in which you are suspended in the air. Aerial workouts can consist of maneuvering through hoops or silk fabric. All modalities allow you to rotate 360 degrees in the air and workout your body in ways not possible on the ground.
What is Lyra Hoop?
Lyra is an aerial hoop that is suspended from the ceiling. To help you get comfortable on the Lyra, we offer introductory and beginner class will help you learn how to do moves and spins using the bottom of the Lyra. The instructor may even put the lyra closer to the ground to help you feel safe while learning a new move.
Lyra Hoop Classes
Intro/Beginner Lyra will help you build the strength, conditioning, and flexibility needed for more advanced moves. Level 2 classes are for individuals who can successfully mount the aerial hoop, feel comfortable being off the ground, and can do several basic moves. Level 2 will focus on teaching more advanced moves, additional mounting styles, smooth transitions between tricks, and fun choreography. You must take Lyra Level 1 and have permission from the Lyra instructor to advance to Level 2.
Recommended Clothing
Non-restrictive, snug fitting athletic apparel. Long leggings or leg warmers recommended since the Lyra can be painful on bare skin. Bare feet recommended, however you can wear ballet style shoes or yoga socks.
Contraindications
Lyra/Aerial Hoop is not recommended for individuals who have had surgery in the last 6 months, pregnant, or have a serous medical condition. If you have any of these conditions or think you may be pregnant, please consult with your physician before taking classes at Pole Kisses, LLC. Please notify your instructor of any injuries prior to class. Individuals under the age of 18 require written parental consent.

Aerial silks, also known as tissue or ribbons, is a large piece of fabric suspended from the ceiling. In Intro/Beginner you will learn how to use the silks to facilitate amazing climbs, wraps, poses, and drops in the air.
Our Aerial Silks Classes
Intro/Beginner class will focus on improving your strength, flexibility, and body awareness, as well as safety and basic moves.
Level 2 will focus on taking you beyond the basics to more advanced aerial moves. Please note that silks can be dangerous. Students are required to attend Level 1 classes and be approved by a silks instructor before joining Level 2.
